Tallisha is a proud Torres Strait Islander woman who has not only represented Australia at the highest level across multiple sports, but has also forged a successful career as a Speech Pathologist. Tallisha is passionate about championing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through her sporting endeavours, her role as a Speech Pathologist and now as an ambassador with First People Recruitment Solutions.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with Shane and Adam Kennelly over the last few months and have seen how creating opportunities and empowering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and families is central to what they do. First People Recruitment Solutions has a long history of providing services that benefit and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and I\u2019m looking forward to seeing how our partnership can make even more positive changes in the community.”<\/p>\n

\n\tTallisha has recently finished a successful Origin campaign with the Queensland Maroons team, who defeated the New South Wales Blues on 25 June at Sunshine Coast Stadium. She will again be competing in the upcoming National Rugby League Women\u2019s competition commencing in August 2021, after previously representing the Brisbane Broncos in 2018 and 2020, and the Sydney Roosters in 2019.<\/p>\n
